Arrests

GENTRY -- Kyle Lee Holt, 30, of Gentry, was cited and released May 9 in connection to three misdemeanor counts of manufacture of a controlled substance, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to police reports, Holt is alleged to have thrown three small marijuana plants which he was cultivating into the woods when police responded to a disturbance at his apartment building. Holt is alleged to have admitted growing the plants and also surrendered a marijuana pipe to police, according to reports.

A June 14 court date was set for Holt, according to police reports.

Police arrested James McIntire, 34, of Gentry, on May 8 in connection to felony theft by receiving, according to police reports. McIntire is alleged to have been in possession of numerous tools and other items reported as stolen in Oklahoma.

Benton County Sheriff's Office

• Alvis Ray Davis, 53, of 16590 Ross Road in Sulphur Springs, was arrested May 17 in connection with aggravated assault on a family or household member and first-degree terroristic threatening. Davis was being held May 17 in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.
