Gravette council approves tract split, Hiwasse remodel bid

Photo by Susan Holland A spacious pavilion with a red metal roof, concrete floor and adjoining sidewalks was recently completed on the grounds of the Hiwasse Community Center. Gravette City Council members, at their meeting Oct. 26, accepted a bid from Electrical Resources for remodeling work on the Community Center building. Outdoor restrooms are being built and playground equipment will be installed soon.
GRAVETTE -- Gravette City Council passed an ordinance at its regular meeting Oct. 26 approving a tract split for property owned by the Coughlin Family LLC on Galyean Stables Road. A public hearing was held at the beginning of the meeting to consider the action, with no one present to comment.
