The fifth annual Great Lego Build-Off, sponsored by Imagine Before and After School Care, drew 12 entries. The event was held Saturday, Nov. 11, at Imagine. No kits were allowed. Each entrant was required to bring an original creation. Garrett May, age 9, of Gravette, took first-place honors in the competition with his "Zombie Apocolypse" entry. Gabriel Thomas, 9, of Sulphur Springs, was the second-place winner with a headless elephant. Ethan Scott, 10, of Bella Vista, was the third-place winner with a display of bionic alien figures. Each prizewinner received a hat, a Lego cup and a set of Legos.
