— A few more than 150 students, teachers, administrators, parents and Decatur area residents gathered in the cafeteria and classroom hallways at Decatur Northside Elementary Nov. 3 for the annual Fall Festival, sponsored by the Decatur Parent-Teacher Organization, for a night of good food, games, a bake sale and silent auction.

Students were treated to a host of carnival games, including the Wheel of Fortune, ring toss, Frisbee throw, fishing, musical squares and bowling for prizes. Each participant in these games won a prize.

At the end of the night, Dale Harris was guest auctioneer for the bake sale. Delectable goodies such as pies, cookies and cakes were auctioned off, with the proceeds going to help fund future Northside projects.
