Three Gentry young men arrested in connection with commercial burglary, theft

Man arrested for possession of controlled substance

GENTRY -- Steven D. Piquet, 20, Dylan J. Ansaldo, 19, and Dillon S. Chamberlain, 19, all of Gentry, were arrested on Oct. 23 in connection with a reported incident and commercial burglary and theft from a Gentry business, according to Gentry Police reports.

According to police reports, the three are alleged to have broken into a Gentry business and taken three all-terrain vehicles during the previous night. The vehicles were recovered from a field along Taylor Orchard Road, with the three admitting to involvement, according to police reports.

Police arrested Robert P. Swanson, 48, of Gentry, on Oct. 31, in connection with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance.

According to police reports, Swanson was stopped at 3 a.m. on Oct. 31 for not having a working light on his vehicle license tag. During the stop, officers allegedly discovered a prescription bottle on the floor of the vehicle which did not belong to Swanson but to a nursing home resident where Swanson worked. The prescription was for hydrocodone and contained a hydrocodone pill, according to reports.

Other Arrests

Decatur

• Ulises Moreno, 30, of 2156B Kristy Lane in Siloam Springs, was arrested Nov. 7 in connection with charges of rape. Moreno is alleged to have had sex with a 13-year-old Decatur girl. In April, the girl told police Moreno had sex with her numerous times, with the most recent being on an Assembly of God church bus after Moreno had dropped off other passengers at their homes.

A news release from the Decatur Police Department stated that officers were contacted April 9 after the victim told her stepmother that Ulises Moreno, 30, had been assaulting her. Moreno denied the allegations when interviewed by an officer, authorities said.

The girl told police that Moreno first raped her when she was 11. At the time of the report, he was no longer in contact with the victim, according to police.

Moreno was arrested at his home shortly before 5 p.m. Nov. 7 on a rape charge.

He has since been released from the Benton County jail on a $50,000 bond, records show.

Benton County Sheriff's Office

• Brian Thomas Kerns, 29, of 1917 Colcord Ave. in Colcord, Okla., was arrested Nov. 6 in connection with sexual assault.

• Teresa Clare Shook, 41, of 19094 Leoshook Drive in Decatur was arrested Nov. 6 in connection with domestic battering.

Bentonville

• Casey Charles Fitzpatrick, 33, of Lawrence, Neb., was arrested Nov. 7 in connection with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine or cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, theft of property, residential burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Daniel Patrick Gannon, 49, of 12527 Hamilton Drive in Gentry was arrested Nov. 7 in connection with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine or cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Nancy Lynn Gannon-Fitzpatrick, 48, of 12627 Hamilton Drive in Gentry was arrested Nov. 7 in connection with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine or cocaine.

Bella Vista

• Jonathan Scott Morris, 32, of 13855 Arkansas 102 West in Gravette, was arrested Nov. 5 in connection with aggravated assault, aggravated assault on a family or household member and endangering the welfare of minor.

Gentry

• Gordon Travis Evans, 48, of 78 McKinnon Ave. in Gentry, was arrested Nov. 1 in connection with sexual assault.
