GENTRY — Carolyn J. Bowman, 71, of Gentry, died Nov. 26, 2017, at Quail Ridge Living Center, West Siloam Springs, Okla.

She was born Oct. 27, 1946, in Siloam Springs, to Austin Ivey and Virginia Janes Ivey. She was a retired nurse and married William Bowman on June 1, 1986.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, A.J. Ivey.

Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Sikes of Fayetteville, and Darin Sikes of Mississippi; one grandchild; a brother, Jim Ivey and wife Judy of Gentry.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
