Police arrest Gentry man on false imprisonment charges

— Police arrested Andrew A. Fielding, 18, of Gentry, on Sept. 26 in connection to false imprisonment, third-degree assault on a family member, interference with emergency communications, criminal mischief and violation of a no-contact order, all misdemeanor charges.

According to police reports, Fielding is alleged to have held a family member in her home and not allowed her to call police while demanding money from her, throwing and disabling her phone and grabbing her by the arms when she tried to leave.

Fielding was listed on the Benton County Jail log yet on Monday with bond set at $1,000.

According to police reports, Gentry police were seeking a warrant for the arrest of Mariah Murray, 25, of Gentry, in connection with a Sept. 16, incident of a disorderly conduct. Murray is alleged to have become agitated, argued and spit in a person's face at her residence.
