Donkeys on the basketball court help raise money for Gentry choirs

GENTRY -- The Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show, hosted by the Gentry Middle and High School choirs, was held on Tuesday, Oct. 3, in the Gentry High School gym. Juniors played seniors in the first game, and parents played against school staff in the second game.

Profit from ticket sales was $1,829.00. Seniors won the first game, parents won the second game and the seniors were victorious in the championship game against the parents.

The money benefits the Gentry Middle and High School choirs. It will be used for helping with fees for choir camp, the Choir Booster scholarship and other choir needs.
