DECATUR -- The Decatur Bulldogs traveled south to Havana to take on the Western Yell County Wolverines on Friday in another conference showdown.
Last year the Bulldogs defeated the Wolverines during Decatur's homecoming on Oct. 21, 2016, at Bulldogs Stadium. It was the team's only victory of the season, winning 28-14.
But history would not repeat itself this season and the Wolverines overwhelmed the Bulldogs, taking the victory, 43-0, and the conference win.
The Bulldogs will play their final home game of 2017 on Oct. 27 at Bulldog Stadium against the Danville Little Johns. Game time is 7 p.m.
