Decatur animal licenses must be renewed annually

DECATUR -- All dogs inside the city limits of Decatur must have a city tag and a rabies vaccination. City tags must be renewed annually.

Application and renewal forms can be obtained at the Decatur Police Station on Main Street in Decatur. To apply for or renew tags requires proof of rabies vaccination and, if applicable, a letter from a veterinarian verifying the animal has been spayed or neutered.
