— The Gravette Historical Museum and members of the PieceMaker Quilt Club will cohost a Gravette quilt show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Gravette Civic Center. The Civic Center is located at 503 Charlotte Street S.E., just west of the city swimming pool.

Theme of the quilt show is "My Grandma and Me," to reflect that both antique and modern quilts will be displayed. Members of the PieceMaker Quilt Club and friends will display their work, and some quilts belonging to the museum will also be shown.

This is a quilt show only. Quilts will not be in competition to receive ribbons or prizes, but those who attend the show will be able to vote for their favorite quilt. The winner of this "people's choice" award will receive a gift certificate.

The "My Grandma and Me" quilt show is open to the public. No admission will be charged. Quilters and quilt lovers from throughout the area are invited to attend. For more information on the upcoming show, call Lavon at 479-787-5678.

The PieceMaker Quilt Club meets the third Saturday of each month at the Church of Christ annex, 202 Irving Street S.W., in Gravette. New members and guests are always welcome.
