Billy V. Hall Senior Center hosts Coffee With a Cop

GRAVETTE -- The Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center will host a "Coffee With a Cop" session at 10:30 a.m. next Wednesday, Sept. 13. Coffee With a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together over coffee to discuss issues and learn more about each other. Senior center director Melissa Steele invites area citizens to attend the event at the center, located at 1870 Limekiln Road in Gravette. Complimentary coffee and snacks will be provided.

The Gravette Police Department employs 11 full-time officers, one part-time officer and one civilian employee. It also has two full-time school resource officers serving the Gravette School District.

The Coffee With a Cop session is co-sponsored by the Benton County SALT Council, a volunteer group with the goal of reducing crime against senior citizens by providing education and interaction with law enforcement officers.
