GRAVETTE -- Patrons of the Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center enjoyed an Easter celebration Friday, March 30. Activities began with an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Prize eggs were filled with candy and a few contained cash prizes.

An Easter bonnet contest was held just before lunch. Several ladies modeled their creatively-decorated bonnets. The top three entries were chosen by the audience. Betty Howard, Connie Adams and Jeanie Easley were winners and received gift bags.

A drawing was held for three quilts made and donated by Betty Howard. Winners of the quilts were Mavis Killeen, Dorothy Norris and Leon Whiteside. $382 was raised for the center's Meals on Wheels program.

Easter dinner was served to almost 60 persons. Each place setting featured a favor, a candy container decorated to look like a rabbit.
