With the count at two balls and two strikes, Soule hit a long fly ball to right field that went over the wall for a two-run home run, bringing the Lions to within one. But Gravette was unable to put anyone else on base as two straight outs gave the Tigers the contest, 6-5.

Aside from his home run, Soule was able to score one in the first and third. He ended the contest four of four at bat for Gravette.
