BELLA VISTA — William Russell "Bill" Habermehl, 61, of Bella Vista, died Aug. 7, 2018.

He was born on Oct. 19, 1956, in Gravette, to William Darrell and Glenna Sue (Davis) Habermehl. He served in the Army for many years, where he worked as a mechanic. He loved fishing and gardening, and he was known to all as a skilled handyman who helped everyone he could. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Hiwasse.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his sister, Karen Habermehl.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Habermehl; his children, Chase Waldon of Bentonville, Amber Chestnut and husband Justin of Rogers, Shane Murphy and wife Barb of Gravette; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, with a fourth on the way; and his brothers, Darrel and Kevan Habermehl.

Funeral services were Aug. 13 at the Church of Christ in Hiwasse. Burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette. Arrangements were by Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
