GENTRY -- Gentry Police arrested Nadine Langrell, 42, of Cave Springs, on Dec. 3, in connection with numerous drug charges and nonfinancial identity fraud after she allegedly attempted to return items to the Gentry Harps Food Store which she did not purchase from the store and then spent a long time in the restroom at closing time, prompting the calling of police.

According to police reports, Nadine is alleged to have used the name of her sister when questioned by police and was placed under arrest in connection with nonfinancial identity fraud. A subsequent search of her purse revealed drug paraphernalia. Following a drug dog sniff of her car, which was parked in the Harps parking lot, police allegedly found marijuana, heroin, Alprazolam and more drug paraphernalia, which Langell said were hers.

Langrell was transported to the Benton County Jail in connection with four charges of drug possession (one of them a felony), 10 charges in connection with possession of drug paraphernalia (felonies), and one charge in connection with nonfinancial identity fraud (also a felony).

Marion Wise, 47, of Cave Springs, who was called to give Langrell a ride before police knew her true identity or that Langrell had her car parked in the Harps parking lot, was cited and released on Dec. 3 in connection with obstructing governmental operations when he allegedly lied to police about the identity of Langrell.

Russell Butler, 34, of Gentry, was arrested on Friday in Springtown by Arkansas State Police in connection with felony theft by receiving; fleeing by vehicle and fleeing on foot; fleeing with extreme indifference; no proof of insurance; driving on a license which was canceled, suspended or revoked; contempt of court; and failure to appear. According to police, Butler was alleged to be driving a stolen car when spotted by state police. A pursuit followed which went east of Arkansas Highway 59 on Dawn Hill East Road and east on Highway 12 before ending with an accident and foot pursuit in Springtown.

Dillon Stanfill, 22, of Springdale, was arrested on Friday in connection with felony parole violation following a Gentry burglary call.

Gentry police cited and released Donna McConnell, 36, of Springdale, on Nov. 28, in connection with driving on a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor charges). The charges followed an early morning traffic stop related to a broken tail light, according to police reports. According to the reports, McConnell was turned over to a Benton County Sheriff's deputy for transport to the Benton County Jail related to warrants out of Benton County and Bentonville.
