GENTRY -- The Pioneers finished their regular season last week with losses to Greenland and Shiloh Christian.
Against Shiloh Christian on Thursday, the Shiloh Christian Saints jumped ahead in the first quarter of play, 21-11. Though the Pioneers outscored the Saints in the second quarter, narrowing the Saints' lead to eight, 32-24, Shiloh increased its lead in the second half to obtain a 70-54 win.
On Feb. 7, the Pioneers traveled to Greenland but lost by six, 50-44. No game stats were made available to the Eagle Observer by press time on Monday.
The Pioneers finished their regular season at 10-17 overall and 5-14 in conference.
The Pioneers were scheduled to play the Pea Ridge Blackhawks, on Tuesday after press time.
