Gravette girls advance to finals against Berryville

Gravette 67, Ozark 45

The Lady Lions continued their postseason roll by blowing away Ozark in the semifinals on Friday to advance to Saturday's title game against Berryville.

Gravette dominated the first half, especially the second quarter when it outscored Ozark 22-9 to take a 37-20 halftime lead. The Lady Lions never looked back from there.

Tori Foster scored 18 points to lead the Lady Lions. Cally Kildow scored 15 and Skyler Morrison 11. Ariel Walker led the Lady Hillbillies with 13.

Berryville 62, Pottsville 53

The host Lady Bobcats punched their ticket to Saturday's championship game by building a small lead early and adding to it over the final three quarters.

Berryville clinched the win at the free-throw line in the fourth quarter by hitting 16-of-20, including 9-of-12 from guard Baylea Smith, who scored 18 points.

Lexy Anderson scored nine first-quarter points to help get the Lady Bobcats off to a fast start. Anderson finished with 17 points before fouling out in the fourth quarter. Kelcee Hooper added 13 for Berryville.

Pottsville, the No. 1 seed from the 4A-4 Conference, got 16 points from three different players. Madi Rust, who drilled four 3-pointers, Skylar Campbell and Aspen Campbell all hit for 16.
