RUSSELLVILLE -- Local students on the fall 2017 Arkansas Tech University dean's list include Hunter Allen Beal and Ger Junior Vang from Decatur; Colton Harrison Little, Brittnee Mychele McKeown (4.0), Mallory Elizabeth Morris, Trey Garon Welch (4.0) and Mark Allen White from Gentry; and Marlie Makenna Ball, Ian Richard Bolduc, Ryan Alan Bolduc (4.0), Elexis Ryan Harper, Rebekah Nicole Lawler, Jafett Alejandro Puga and Saber Lakota Treat from Gravette.
A student must achieve a 3.5-grade-point average or higher and complete at least 12 hours of college-level coursework to be named to the dean's list. A total of 1,991 Arkansas Tech students achieved that distinction during fall 2017, a 5.2 percent increase over fall 2016. Included in the fall 2017 dean's list are 754 students that achieved a 4.0-grade-point average.
