Gentry quilt show winners announced

GENTRY -- Winner's in last week's quilt show held at the Gentry Public Library and sponsored by the Gentry Chamber of Commerce and McKee Foods include the following:

• Best of Show -- Toni Sarratt, Starget;

• Best Machine Quilting -- Teresa Sturgeon, Checkerboard Shuffle;

• Best Use of Color -- Sharon Martin, Pineapple;

• Best Non-traditional Quilt -- Bobbie Wright, Bookcase;

• Honorable Mention Machine Quilting -- Linda Byrnes, Nine Patch Reunion;

• Honorable Mention Machine Quilting -- Sharon Martin, Ashley;

• My First Quilt Award -- Ashten Reeves, 6; and

• My First Quilt Award -- Georgia Lashley, 13.

The annual show was held from Jan. 12 through Jan. 19 in the McKee Community Room at the library.
