JONESBORO -- Cassie LaDana Duncan of Gentry received a master of science degree in education -- special education instructional specialist K-12, and Lisa Michelle Owens of Maysville a master of science degree in early childhood services at the Arkansas State University 2017 fall commencement ceremony Dec. 9 in the First National Bank Arena on campus.
Chancellor Kelly Damphousse conferred a record 1,474 diplomas during the ceremony. Graduates from six colleges received doctorate, bachelor, master, specialist and associate degrees at the ceremony. Students representing 69 of the 75 counties in Arkansas received degrees, along with graduates from 36 states, and 78 from 14 nations.
