BENTON COUNTY -- The Arkansas State Highway Commission approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Benton County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation officials.
The purpose of this project is to reseal approximately 6.8 miles of County Road 18 (N. Mt. Olive Road) near Decatur. Improvements will extend from State Highway 279 to State Highway 59.
Hutchens Construction Co., of Cassville, Mo., was awarded the contract at $190,685.70.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in late 2018.
