GRAVETTE -- While little was going on outdoors in most places Sunday afternoon due to temperatures in the 90s, that was not the case at Gravette's city pool and splash pad.
The pool was crowded with children and adults keeping cool in the water, with many making a splash with the pool's water slide and diving board.
Next door at the splash pad, many younger children, watched closely by parents, took advantage of the many water sprinklers, rides and slides.
All in all, it was the coolest place in town for more reasons than one.
The pool was recently renovated and the splash pad is in its first season in Gravette.
