Gravette seeking volunteer firefighters

GRAVETTE -- The Gravette Fire Department announced it is actively seeking firefighting volunteers in the Hiwasse community of the Gravette fire district. These firefighters will be trained to respond to medical, hazmat, motor vehicle, road hazard and fire emergencies in the Gravette district as well as in the mutual aid departments of Maysville, Sulphur Springs, Decatur and Centerton.

These firefighters will receive fire and medical training and will be eligible for a LOPFI retirement program.
