GENTRY -- Dylan Nelson, 25, of Gentry, was arrested in connection to an alleged incident of third-degree battery against a child on May 23. Police allege that Nelson spanked a child with a belt, leaving a bruise.
Baudelio Velasquez, 23, was cited and released on May 17 in connection to possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. According to police reports, Velasquez was contacted by police while walking down Third Street in Gentry and offered a ride home. Velasquez admitted to having a small amount of marijuana and a pipe in his duffle bag, according to police reports.
