Bulldogs get stung by Hornets in scrimmage basketball contest

DECATUR -- In the second week of the Decatur Summer League scrimmage games, the Decatur Bulldog senior- and junior-high teams faced off with their counterparts from Colcord, Okla., June 5, at Peterson Gym in Decatur.

Both the Bulldogs and Hornets used the four-day practice schedule between weeks one and two to correct mistakes from previous scrimmages. Colcord was able to win two of the three 20-minute scrimmages.

During this week, the junior high teams from both schools had the opportunity to meet on the court. The Hornets took all three contests.
