Ribbon cut, grand opening held at Diamond Rock Rental

GENTRY -- A ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration were held Friday at Diamond Rock Rental and Equipment, on Arkansas Highway 59 in Gentry. The new business is owned by Tyler and Janae Burns and rents out a variety of tools and equipment.

The Burns, with their children, family members and guests, cut the ribbon to their new business at 11 a.m. Friday morning and welcomed guests and visitors for a noon meal. Among those accompanying the Burns Family were Janae's parents, Max and Rose Koehn; Kevin Johnston, Gentry's mayor; Janie Parks, executive director of the Gentry Chamber of Commerce; Tammie Runyan, president of the Gentry Chamber of Commerce; and Andrea Tun, manager of the Gentry branch of Grand Savings Bank.

The new business offers compact earthmoving equipment, trailers, aerial work platforms and a variety of general tools, including scaffolding, compactors, concrete saws, grinders and more, according to its website.

The business is located at 1262 S. Gentry Blvd., in Gentry. Its hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, according to Tyler Burns.
