GENTRY -- A Gentry couple is celebrating 65 years of marriage today.

Frank and Barbara(Callaway) Bush were married on March 7, 1953, in Monett, Mo. Frank went to work for TWA in Kansas City, Mo., after graduation. He also served in the Kansas National Guard for eight years. Barbara was a stay-at-home mom and enjoyed working in the yard, sewing and painting while raising their four children: Allen (Dawn), Brett (Terri), and Kelly (Shannon) all of Kansas City; Darla (Kenny Threet) of Gentry; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

They moved from Kansas City to northwest Arkansas after retiring in 1994. They now enjoy working in the yard together. Frank does woodworking projects and Barbara still loves to paint.

They have made many friends attending Victory Missionary Baptist Church.
