GENTRY -- The Lady Pioneers lost, 7-1, on Monday, April 30, when the Berryville Lady Bobcats came to Gentry. The girls also came up short in Wednesday's (May 2) home conference game against Shiloh Christian in a shootout after a score of 2-2.

After coming from behind, 1-0, in the first half of the match, the Lady Pioneers finished the final period, tied at 2 all. In the following shootout, Shiloh Christian managed three goals to Gentry's two for the win.

Gentry's two regulation goals were kicked in by Katie Ellis and Ariel Nix. Chastery Fuamatu, Gentry's goalie, was credited with 12 saves in the game.

Gentry scoring was not available for the Berryville game.

The Lady Pioneers fell to the visiting Lady Tigers from Prairie Grove on Friday, 2-1. Katie Ellis kicked in Gentry's lone goal for the night. Fuamatu was credited with 11 saves in the game.

The Pioneers fell to Berryville, 8-0, on Monday, April 30, in Pioneer Stadium. No other game information was available.

The Pioneers hosted the Prairie Grove Tigers on Friday at Gentry High School And scored three goals in the first period and held the Tigers to one goal in each period to take a 3-2 victory in the match

Gentry senior Kevin Ochoa scored Gentry's three goals in the game. Edgar Reyes was credited with an assist. Ramon Arguijo had nine saves.
