GENTRY -- Police cited and released Alexis D. Walker, 20, of Gentry, in connection with possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia on May 3, shortly before midnight.

According to police reports, Walker was allegedly parked in the city park with a passenger after hours and, after leaving the park, changed lanes crossing a solid white line. During a traffic stop, police allegedly noted the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle and, in a subsequent search, found a baggie containing green, leafy substance and a small glass pipe with burnt residue in it.

Sulphur Springs

• Johnny Lee Arehart, 23, of 408 S.W. Spring St., was arrested May 8 in connection with breaking or entering. Arehart was being held May 9 in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.
