GENTRY -- The Pioneers returned from Berryville on Friday night with their first victory of the season, defeating the Bobcats, 27-13, in the conference game.
Brandon Atwood completed 15 of 25 passes for 248 yards and two touchdowns.
Peyton Wright caught seven passes for 89 yards and one touchdown, while Devon Ellis added 100 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries for the Pioneers.
Brett Parsons had a pair of touchdown runs for Berryville (2-3, 0-2). The Pioneers are now 1-4 for the season and 1-1 in conference play.
The Pioneers face Green Forest at 7 p.m. on Friday in Pioneer Stadium, following Gentry's homecoming ceremonies at 6:30 p.m.
