GRAVETTE -- Though the football game didn't go as planned, the fans were delighted by the Gravette homecoming ceremonies as the class maids and senior queen candidates were escorted to their places on the football field and the announcements were made.

The court included cheerleaders Brooklyn Lykins and Peyton Stearman; kindergarten mascots McKenzie Jones, Cooper Cradduck and Elsa Hendrick; senior maids Emma Russell and Amy Whiteside; junior maids Ainsley Cook and Abigail Olvera; sophomore maids Tia Berger and Mikey Larson; freshman maids Holly Howard and Reese Hamilton; and escorts Caleb Brown, Dillon Hendricks, Tajae White, Aiden Patton, Hunter Cole, Beau Hamilton, Colton Grimes, Mason Dagley, Roberto Barrios, Kyle Rachel, Wyatt Coffelt, Jimmy Duncan, Ty Verble and Isaac Dann.

And three senior girls were in the running for homecoming queen: Keeley Bulza, Hannah Cole and Hannah Westrick. As the two runners-up were announced and crowned, the fact that she would be crowned homecoming queen began to be realized by Westrick.

And then the announcement came: "And this year's Gravette homecoming queen is Hannah Westrick!"

Beau Hamilton placed the crown on her head and Aidan Patton presented her with a bouquet of roses. Both gave her the ceremonial kiss on the cheek, and the crowd cheered as Hannah Westrick was recognized as the 2018 Gravette homecoming queen.
