GENTRY -- The 27th annual Tired Iron of the Ozarks fall show is set for Friday, Sept. 7, through Sunday, Sept. 9, at the Tired Iron showgrounds, 13344 Taylor Orchard Road in Gentry. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The show will feature antique tractors, farm and home tools and implements and antique engines. The show features a working blacksmith shop, working sawmills, a parade of power at noon each day, tractor games, rope making, a log cabin, and a concession stand.

The featured tractor this fall is the Ford N Series. They, along with other makes and models, will be lined up for visitors to see and will be driven past spectators at noon each day in the Parade of Power.

The Witte Engine is the featured engine. A wide variety of antique engines will be running and on display -- many attached to old implements to show their uses in early to mid-20th-century farm life.

Other features of the show include a working blacksmith shop and sawmills, tractor games, a furnished log cabin, outhouse photo booth, rope making, antique tractor and engine displays, old farm implements and demonstrations, antique home furnishings with demonstrations, concession stand serving breakfast and lunch, music, a flea market, and 9 a.m. Sunday church services.

RV parking is available, and show and visitor parking are free.

From Gentry, visitors may turn west on SWEPCO Road from Pioneer Lane or Crowder Avenue and follow the signs. From Siloam Springs, travel north on Dawn Hill Road and take Taylor Orchard Road around the north side of City Lake and up the hill to the showgrounds.
