Benton County Sheriff's Office

• Mark David Mitchell, 36, of 9800 Mt. Zion Lane in Decatur, was arrested on Thursday in connection with felony rape. He was being held without bond on Thursday.

• Brian Henderson, 53, of 25131 W. Arkansas 72 in Gravette, was arrested Thursday in connection with aggravated assault on a family or household member. Henderson was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail on a written promise bond.

• Thomas Charles Hartley, 50, of 129 S. Bush Ave. in Sulphur Springs, was arrested Thursday in connection with rape and sexually grooming a child. Hartley was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

• Jeremy Jay Lafarlette, 26, of 8240 Lacroix in Decatur was arrested Tuesday in connection with possession of a firearm by certain persons and failure to comply with reporting requirements. Lafarlette was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

• Chad Edward Smith, 37, of 9727 Bloomfield in Gentry was arrested Monday in connection with possession of a firearm by certain persons. Smith was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Gravette Police Department

• Joshua Daniel White, 44, of 405 Atlanta S.E. in Gravette was arrested Monday in connection with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms. White was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Gentry Police Department

• Kellsie D. Gardner, 30, of 7431 S.W. Lee Harris Road in Bentonville, was cited and released on June 30 in connection with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia -- a marijuana pipe.

• Emmanuel Torres, 20, of 1605 Oriole Street, No. 10, in Springdale, was cited and released on June 27 in connection with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
