GRAVETTE Attorney General Dustin McDaniel issued a consumer alert last week warning Arkansans of the risks of buying H1N1 (swine flu) treatments over the Internet. Such drugs may contain only talc and over-the-counter pain relievers including Tamiflu. Nonehas Food and Drug Administration approval.
Tamiflu and Relenza, another drug, are available only by prescription from a doctor and should only be purchased from a licensed pharmacy, Mc-Daniel said.
Lottery Redemption Center Is Now Open At Springdale Location
Northwest Arkansas winners in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery can now take their winning tickets to the newly opened ASL Claim Center on Elm Springs Road in Springdale’s Elmwood Plaza. The location is about two blocks east of I-540 on Elm Springs Road.
Prizes won by anyone in any denomination less than $1,000 can be claimed at the center.
