Savvy Swappers Group Is Started By Gravette Ladies

— A group of ladies have begun meeting in Gravette once a month to share homemaking tips and enjoy a potluck evening meal.

But perhaps the biggest feature of the new group could be summed up by its name: “Savvy Swappers”.

Kim Gibson and Beth Austin have been instrumental in forming the “club” and Gibson said all ladies in the area are invited to the next meeting, Thursday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Bank of Gravett community room.

The theme for this month’s meeting, Gibson said, “is to bring a problem-solving tip: ‘What would your mother do?’” Ladies are also asked to bring a favorite “mother’s” dish to share. Drinks will be furnished.

“To be a ‘Savvy Swapper’ please bring two good items to swap such as home decor items, clothing, picture frames, books, jewelry. . . . . just any good household type items that someone might want to swap you for,” she added.

If you have questions contact Gibson, 644-9228, or Austin, 644-1397.
