Jerry Edward Drake
Jerry Edward Drake, 66, of Springdale, died April 15, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
He was born May 9, 1943, in Fayetteville, to Cagail Edward and Nellie Mae Hill Drake. He owned and operated Drake’s Mobile Home Transportation for 30 years and founded and operated the Ozark Bass Anglers Association.
Survivors include his wife Rita Drake of the home; five children, Marla Joyner and husband David of Cave Springs, Timothy Drake of Colcord, Okla., Kendall Drake and wife Angela of Colcord, Okla., James Drake and wife Jeniece of Elm Springs, Rodger Linn and wife Melanie of Bella Vista; two brothers, Larry Drake of Rogers and Ernest Drake of Huntsville; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Lakeview Baptist Church in Cave Springs. Burial was at White Oak Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale.
