Boys and Girls Clubs starting fall programs

— Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Benton County with units in Gravette and Siloam Springs have started their fall after-school programs for youth ages 6 to 18. The first sessions were held last Thursday and will be held Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. when school is in session.

All kids must have a 2010 calendar-year membership and there is a $20 fee for the fall semester core programs, including art, learning games, teen cafe and gym activities. Extracurricular activities include football, basketball, boxing and others.

Assistance is available for all children who qualify for free and reduced lunch.

In Gravette children walk to the club located in the Civic Center after school is dismissed.
