Blood Shortage: Collection Will Be Held February 10

GRAVETTE — Community Blood Center of the Ozarks has issued a “code yellow alert” for all blood types and announced there will be a blood drive Wednesday, February 10, at R & R Solutions in Gravette.

Collection of blood will be from 10 a.m.. to 4 p.m.at R & R at 601 First Avenue NW (Highway 59 north).

CBCO said there is less than a two day supply of blood on hospital shelves. It takes more than 275 donations per day to meet the needs of the 36 area hospital which use CBCO products.
