GRAVETTE — Fire last Tuesday night, January 5, destroyed a frame home located at Fifth and Dallas Streets S.W. in Gravette, occupied by Justin Wilmoth who was not at home at thetime.
The fire was reported by passerby Debra Jackson who told The News Herald her 911 call “was transferred to Rogers, then to Bentonville and finallyback to the county” before the Gravette fire department was dispatched, more than 10 minutes later.
The blaze apparently started in the kitchen areaof the home.
Several area fire departments also assisted.
The above photo shows firefighters at the scene and the house almost totally engulfed.
