GRAVETTE — Gravette Public Library announces an “Amnesty Week” for persons who have fines and books/ materials out, according to library manager Kim Schneider.
The amnesty is for “one week only” beginning June 21 and extending through June 26, “Persons who have books or materials, bring themback in good condition and we will forego the fines,” Schneider said., “We will work with you; we want you back.”
Should you not have the books, a replacement cost payment program may be worked out and if you are out of a job or don’t have the money, a work-off program at the library may be worked out, she noted.
