Pressure washers stolen in Decatur

— Abraham Montes, 19, and Aaron Beaza, 24, were arrested on April 14 after allegedly stealing 21 pressure washer machines from the FNA pressure washer plant in Decatur.

According to a report from the Decatur Police Department, both men admitted to police they removed a pallet of pressure washer machines from the building that contained eighteen large 1,800-pounds-persquare-inch machines and three small 1,400-psi machines. The men told police they used a forklift to takethe pressure washers out a door and hid them, then came back after work and loaded the pressure washers in a pick-up truck and took them home.

All but one of the machines were recovered, according to the report. Montes told police he sold one of the large pressure washers to a man he could only identify as Enrique for $90.

Montes and Baeza showed police where the rest of the pressure washers were stored. Montes kept eight of the pressure washers at his home in Siloam Springs, and Beaza kept nine of the 1,800 psi machines and three ofthe 1,200-psi machines at a storage unit in Siloam Springs.

Police also recovered 14 pressure washer hoses, five pairs of gloves and four bottles of soap that had been taken from the FNA plant. The pressure washer machines and other items were valued at a total of $3,520, according to the police report.

Montes and Baeza were charged with Theft of Property, a class B felony, and transported to the Benton County Jail “where they were released on felony citation per deputy prosecuting attorney Gina Gottman,” the report said.
