Ward and Paula Carrier had birthday lunch on Sunday for their son Brian Carrier and daughter Amy Brooks. Others helping them celebrate were their spouses Diane and Tom, brother Mike Carrier, nephew Gabe Carrier, aunt DaleLynn Carrier, cousin Diane Carrier, friend Trevor Blevins and me, Grandma Carrier.

Autumn Gregg, Novella Carlton’s granddaughter, won several ribbons at the Washington County Fair. Congratulations.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Carver, Jake and Novella Carlton attended the Naturals game on Sunday evening.

Geneva Hamilton took her granddaughter Reese birthday shopping on Saturday.

That curve on Hwy. 279 North claimed some more victims during the rain Wednesday afternoon. One woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Robert Brooks of Ola, Ark., spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Tom Brooks. Those enjoying lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier and Lamarise on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Amy and Robert Brooks and myself.
