GRAVETTE — Gravette Lady Lions softball team dropped a 2-3 heartbreaker to Ozark Monday afternoon at Pop Allum Park in Gravette. The visitors had gone ahead 3-0 with 1 run in the second and 2 in the top of the sixth.
Gravette scored 2 in the bottom of the inning but was unable to capitalize in the seven-inning loss.
The Lady Lions will playFarmington in Gravette this Thursday at 5 p.m., will travel to Prairie Grove Friday and on next Tuesday will travel to Gentry.
In the Van Buren invitational tournament last weekend, the Lady Lions dropped games to Charleston 1-4, to Bentonville 1-6 and to Mansfield 1-7. They took wins over Van Buren JV 7-0, Cedarville 5-1 and in the final game Saturday toppled Siloam Springs 6-0.
