Decatur kindergarten and pre-K enrollment this week

DECATUR — The Decatur Northside Elementary School will hold kindergarten and pre-kindergarten enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 30 and May 1.

Kindergarten students must turn 5 by Aug. 1 to enroll. Parents are asked to bring their child’s shot records, birth certificate and proof of residence.

Children will also be required to have a kindergarten physical before the enrollment process is complete.

Pre-kindergarten students must turn 3 or 4 years old by Aug. 1 to enroll, but preferencewill be given to 4 year olds. Parents are asked to bring their child’s shot records, birth certificate and proof of residence as well as proof of family income.
