— Matthew Colvin

Matthew Lee Colvin, 40, of Gentry, died July 5, 2012, at his home.

He was born June 8, 1972, in Fresno, Calif., to Gary Colvin and Linda Long Colvin. He had lived in Gentry for the past 35 years and was a senior finance manager for Walmart. He married Naomi Perryman on Aug. 1, 1992, in Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Naomi of the home; two children, Kyle Colvin and wife Jamie of Gentry, and Burgandi Colvin and husband Gabe Cruz of San Angelo, Texas; six grandchildren; parents, Linda Colvin and Gary Colvin of Gravette; and one brother, Eugene Colvin of Rogers.

Funeral services were July 9 at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Rodney Gruver officiating. Burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Margaret Einhellig

Margaret Maxine Einhellig, 93, of Gentry, died July 2, 2012, at Washington Regional Hospice in Fayetteville.

She was born Dec. 9, 1918, at Las Animas, Colo., to Theodore W. Hills and Inez Lowe Hills. She was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Gentry. She married William Einhellig on Nov. 20, 1943,

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, John Einhellig; one daughter, Esther Arthur; two granddaughters; one grandson; and six brothersand sisters.

Survivors include one son, Bill Einhellig of Gentry; two daughters, Cathy Crabtree and husband Steve, and Mary Lou Steele and husband Randall, all ofSiloam Springs; 13 grandchildren; and 17 greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were July 7 at the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church, Gentry, with Edwin Rosado and Pastor Gil officiating. Burial followed at Fairmount Cemetery, near Gentry.

Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Dr. Billy V. Hall

Dr. Billy Voyt Hall, 86, of Gravette, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette.

He was born on June 14, 1926, in Coal Hill to Edgar 0. Hall and Lois Ogden Hall. After graduating at the age of 15 from Farmington High School in 1942, he began college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. At 17 he joined the Navy and trained at the San Diego Naval Hospital before transferring to the the USS Lansdowne for a short time prior to the end of WWII. He was honorably discharged in 1946 with enough credit under the GI Bill for medical school. In 1950 he graduated from UAMS in Little Rock, receiving special honor for being the top student all four years. Subsequently he was awarded a prestigious internship in Washington D.C. at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Because his tenure was in the midst of the Korean War, he quickly gained experiencewith trauma patients as well as a broad exposure to many other acute illnesses.

In 1951 he started a family and was encouraged to establish a practice in an underserved community in rural Northwest Arkansas. Dr. Hall moved to Gravette and set up an office on Main Street. As his patient base grew, so did the needs of the area. He spearheaded an effort tobuild the first community hospital in 1955 and then a new state-of-the art facility, which was chartered in 1975. He retired from his practice in 2006 after 55 years of service.

He is survived by his five children; three sons, Gordon Hall and wife Janie of Bella Vista; David Hall and wife Billie of Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, South Carolina; Patrick Hall and wife Lacey of Gravette; two daughters, Donna Dennis and husband Joe of Greensboro, N.C.; Caroline Martinez and husband Joey of Gravette; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to service time, and the memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, at the Heritage Baptist Church, 307 Fourth Ave. SE, Gravette. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Donnie Kirby

Donnie Lynn Kirby, 51, of Jay, Okla., died June 25, 2012, near Gentry.

He was born June 13, 1961, in Elkhart, Kan., to Donnie Kirby and Carlotta Burkhart Kirby. He served in the Army during peacetime and worked in construction as a framer.

Survivors include his parents of Jay; one son, Dylynn Keith Kirby of Leach, Okla.; two brothers, Mike Kirby and wife Twila of Kansas, Okla., Rick Kirby of Jay; and one sister, Angela Johnson of Siloam Springs.

Graveside services were July 7 at Row Cemetery, Colcord, Okla., with Arlie Ponds officiating.

Nadine Schofield

Nadine Schofield, 86, of Sulphur Springs, died July 7, 2012, at her home.

She was born April 6, 1926, in Picher, Okla., to Benjamin Fenis and Eva (VanBuskirk) Ryburn. Shelived in the Sulphur Springs area most of her life and owned and operated State Line Liquor for 35 years. She enjoyed fishing and growing flowers, as well as spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Chuck Sharp and wife Laneya, of Bentonville; two daughters, Pat North of Grove, Okla., Sherri Moreland and husband Ace of Miami, Okla., and close friend and care giver Bonnie Brower of Sulphur Springs; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were July 10 at the North Olympus Cemetery near Grove, Okla. Arrangements were by Ozark Funeral Home, Noel, Mo.

Michael Wheaton, Sr.

Michael Patrick Wheaton, Sr., 42, of Decatur, died June 30, 2012, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital, Siloam Springs.

He was born May 5, 1970, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Patrick Wheaton and Wrenette Taylor. He moved to Decatur in 1989 from Little Rock and was a supervisor at Cobb Feed Mill. He volunteered at local schools and with sports teams.

Survivors include one son, Michael Wheaton. Jr., of Decatur; one daughter, Kyleigh Wheaton of Gentry; his father, Patrick Wheaton of Missoula, Mont.; his mother, Wrenette Patterson of Tacoma, Wash.; one brother, Stevin Wheaton of Redlands, Calif.; one sister, Angela Wheaton of Tacoma; two half sisters, Stasia Wheaton of Missoula, and Caity Wheaton of Seattle, Wash; and one half brother,Zach Wheaton of Missoula.

Visitation was July 5 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. No service was scheduled. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
