Job fair set for Sept. 20-21 in Gravette

GRAVETTE — A Job Fair Workshop will be held Thursday and Friday, Sept. 20 and 21, at the Gravette Public Library.

The free workshop will provide information on resume writing on Thursday and will provide the opportunity to meet with area business representatives the following day. This will be an instructional experience involving job applications and interviews.

More than a dozen business and professionalpersons and representatives from various firms will be present to assist with the workshop.

The fair is open to residents of Gravette, Sulphur Springs and Maysville, as well as Centerton, Decatur and Gentry.

There is no charge, saidKim Schneider, library director.

The library is holding a book sale during the month of September. Persons may select a bag full of books for only a dollar, the announcement said.
