The Payne Family celebrated Christmas on Dec. 29 at the Gravette Civic Center with over 60 family members present. Sunday morning 20 of us met at the Gallery in Decatur before a lot of them had to return home to several different states.
Bob and Barbara Wineberg came from Lake City, Fla. Their daughter Nikki and husband Cade Mayer came from Tucson,Ariz. Patti Cummins and daughter Rachel came from Coppell, Texas. Bill and Paula Nicholson hail from Harrisonville, Mo.
Family members attending from the state of Oklahoma included Rick and Janet Payne, Jeff and Candy Williams and children John Wayne, Matthew and Rebecca, Wendy Frost, Luke Payne, Stefphen Payne, Shelby Scott and Hannah Wylie, all of Vinita. Our Uncle Delbert and Aunt May from Grovewere sorely missed. Get well soon, Aunt May.

We all enjoyed our “Crockpot” Christmas dinner and playing Dirty Santa.
