GRAVETTE - Delta Bank & Trust in Bella Vista will host its annual Community Spirit 18-hole Golf Scramble to support the Billy V. Hall Senior Wellness Center Meals on Wheels program in Gravette.
Mary Kay Kelley, director of the center, who was presented a check for $4,500 last year, expressed gratefulness for the support. She said, “More than I ever imagined, people are signing up for our Meals on Wheels program. We need a miracle to serve all the senior people in need.”
The event will be held August 10 at Highlands Golf Course in Bella Vista and entrants are being sought for the following flights: 4-man team or 4-man senior team (age 65-plus) or mixed men and women; men #2 tee;senior men #3 tee; women #4 tee. Prizes include four places per flight/ closest to pin all four par 3s (men and women).
Entry fee is $40 per person, $160 per team and mulligans 4 for $5. Lunch will be provided at the Highlands Clubhouse. Entry deadline is August 2. Forms are available at the bank or by contacting Teresa Huck, assistant branch manager of Delta in Bella Vista, 876-6400.
