Donations being accepted for Oklahoma tornado victims

GRAVETTE -Bryce Romine has made arrangements with R&R Solutions in Gravette to provide a truck to collect supplies to aid the victims of the tragic tornado in Moore, Okla.

“We are looking for 4-H’ers to help in one-hour increments to collect the items and put them in the truck," Romine said.

"If you are able to help by donating time, money or supplies, get in touch with Bryce or Michelle Romine, 640-6515.

"Donations will be accepted to Friday, June 7,at Arvest Bank in Gravette, the Bank of Gravett, Imagine and R&R Solutions,” the organizers said.

Items Needed

Following is a list of items that are needed for the project:

Food/related items -Snacks, individual bags of chips, cakes, etc. that can hold up in hot/wet conditions. Sports drinks, such as Gatorade, some water, paper plates, cups, napkins, disposal eating utensils.

Clean up items - Tarps, sunscreen, work gloves, contractor trash bags,medical gloves, bungee cords, paper towels, shop towels, plastic sheeting.

Personal items - Moist wipes, diapers, formula, toiletries, hand sanitizers, pain relievers.

Miscellaneous - Dog food, cat food, pet leashes.

Kid friendly items - Color books and supplies, puzzles, games, balls, etc.
